Did Jesus teach a trinity?
"All things are delivered unto Me of My Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal Him."
Matt. 11:27. If the Holy Spirit was a third equal being, rather than their personal invisible presence, wouldn't He have known too? That text cannot be true if the Godhead consists of three
co-eternal, co-equal beings.
Did the apostle Paul teach a Trinity?
"For there is one God, and one Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus."
1 Tim. 2:5.
"I charge thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality." 1Tim. 5:21.
If the Holy Spirit were a third equal being, wouldn't He have been a greater witness than the angels? Yet after calling on the very highest witnesses, God and Christ, Paul then goes to the angels. Why would he do that if he believed in a trinity?
"But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him." 1 Cor. 8:6
"For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God." 1 Cor. 2:11.
Is my spirit a different person to me? Paul says as my spirit is with me, so God's Spirit is with him. My spirit knows me and Gods Spirit knows Him. My spirit is not another distinct individual, neither is God's Spirit another distinct indivdual. Otherwise we would be contradicting the words of Jesus first quoted.
